How It All Started
Born from a
Love of Travel
Therese Canton didn't choose travel — travel chose her. From her very first solo trip as a young woman, she felt an irresistible pull toward the unfamiliar: new languages, new landscapes, new ways of seeing the world. That curiosity never left her.
Over the years, she turned that passion into a personal mission — to visit as much of the world as possible, one country at a time. To date, she has explored 40 countries across six continents.
Each trip taught her something new — not just about the destination, but about what makes travel truly meaningful. It's rarely the five-star hotel or the famous monument. It's the unexpected detour, the local who points you down an unmarked path, the quiet morning when a place reveals itself to you in a way no guidebook ever could.
Friends started asking her to plan their trips. Then friends of friends. By 2026, what had started as a passion project became Therese Travel & Tours — a boutique agency built on one simple belief: that every traveler deserves a journey as unique and alive as the world itself.
